You see, I sell or should say I try to sell my art on e-Bay at http://stores.ebay.com/KAT-CROSBY-ART. It's been very slow as of late and I really want to get the ball rolling.
A little about my self: I'm a self-taught artist. I had an artist friend say you should never say "self-taught", you should say "no formal training". Whatever. I don't pull punches and I tell it like it is. I'm self-taught. I've always created, but I've just gotten into painting a few years ago. I've stumbled on a "passion" that I want to keep doing. And in order to justify the time and money spent on it, I need to sell some of my work. Don't get me wrong, I've currently sold alot of the pieces I have listed and have sold pieces to buyers from Australia to Spain, Argentina to England. So, "what's the problem" you're wondering. The sales are few and far between and I feel like I'm giving it away. That's it in a nutshell. Like I said, I don't pull punches and I want to sell more and at a respectable price. So, if I can get more exposure and more interest in my art, that would be good. Thus the blog.
I'm currently doing small scale art and ACEO's, but want to get into bigger pieces. I love abstracts and do alot of those. I am also experimenting with mixed media. I hope you will check out my work and maybe buy a piece. These are some pieces I will be listing this week:
